Ashley Sleep Low Profile Foundation – Bring the Bed Back Down
Price range: $97.99 through $113.99
Do the math on a modern bed: a 14-inch mattress on a 9-inch box spring on a frame puts the sleep surface near barstool height. Swap in this 5-inch metal foundation and the bed comes back down to earth – the same rigid, flat support, four fewer inches of climb.
Ready-to-assemble metal construction keeps it sturdy and shippable, and the size run now covers Twin through California King, so tall modern mattresses across the whole house can sit at civilized heights.
It is the quiet fix for the bed that looks great and boards like a horse.
Questions & Answers
Why choose a low-profile foundation?
Modern mattresses are tall – a 5-inch foundation keeps the total bed height sensible while providing the same rigid support as a full-height box.
What sizes and prices does it come in?
Full $219.99 and Queen $259.99 on this page – with Twin, Twin XL, King, and California King also available; ask our team for current pricing.
Is a foundation different from a box spring?
Yes – a foundation is rigid, flat support with no springs, which is what most modern foam and hybrid mattresses require.
Is assembly hard?
It is ready-to-assemble metal construction – straightforward with basic tools. Ask our team about setup options.
Which mattresses need it?
Most modern mattresses want solid, flat support – if you are replacing an old box spring, this is the current answer.
